Sometime after midnight tonight, the Earth will spin it’s way through Comet Swift-Tuttle’s debris-field.
When this happens, the sky over your head will fill with countless numbers of stars falling out of the Perseus constellation. (Guys, you should already know where this is. Girls, if your guy doesn’t know his way around the night sky, DM me.)
So, do yourself a favor. Grab the best bottle of wine you can afford, get your favorite person in the world, and drive as far out of town as you can get. (Preferably to a mountaintop, if you have one.) Find a spot with an unobstructed view, lay out a big blanket, and watch the northern sky for as long as you can stand it (Extra-credit if you make it till dawn. Take an extra blanket to cuddle under in case it’s chilly.)
Anyway, this promises to be one of the most romantic nights of the year if you do a little leg work and make it happen. You won’t regret a moment of it.
